Career Summary

I run the systems that let B2B SaaS companies trust their own revenue numbers: Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, and everything that plugs into them. Fourteen years of it, across Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, and now Customer Success Operations too.

My path here started in 2012, when I earned my Salesforce Administrator certification after a few years in sales roles. Since then I've built Salesforce orgs from the ground up — one company grew from 4 seats to over 100 while I ran it — executed three full marketing automation platform migrations across Pardot, Marketo, and HubSpot, and built the lead scoring models and ICP definitions that told sales teams which leads were actually worth chasing.

At Provarity, where I'm currently Director of IT and Sales Operations, I run Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, IT, and — as of this year — Customer Success and Support: four workstreams at once. I also built an AI workflow that connects Claude to Salesforce and Zoom, so call transcripts turn into drafted opportunity notes, next steps, and budget and timeline signals instead of someone typing it all in by hand. That work, plus leading our SOC 2 Type I and II certification and a 25% cut in operational costs from consolidating our tech stack, is what got this year's review rated Outstanding / Far Exceeds Expectations.

I'm open to Manager and Director level roles in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Customer Success Operations, or GTM Engineering. Certified Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator, hands on in Marketo, HubSpot, and Salesforce CPQ, comfortable building API integrations and AI-driven workflow automation across a revenue stack, and fluent in Spanish.

Sales Operations Manager

BlueSnap (formerly Plimus, Inc.) - San Jose, CA

Jan 2012 - Jan 2015

The start of the operations career. I moved off the phones and into the system behind them, then administered the corporate Salesforce org as it grew from 4 seats to more than 100.

This is where the operations career actually began. In 2012 I stopped carrying a quota and took over the system the quota ran on — and it turned out to be the work I was built for.

  • Administered the Salesforce org for the entire corporation, growing it from 4 seats to a 100+ seat environment.
  • Designed and implemented the operational, functional, and administrative Salesforce features the business ran on.
  • Built executive dashboards, pipeline visualizations, and performance management frameworks for inside and field sales.
  • Earned the Salesforce Certified Administrator credential in 2012 — the deliberate step off the phones and into operations — and the Advanced Administrator credential while doing the job they describe.
  • Built the first lead scoring model and ICP definition of my career, so the sales team could tell which leads were actually worth chasing.
Business Development / Inside Sales Representative

BlueSnap (formerly Plimus, Inc.) - San Jose, CA

Jan 2009 - Dec 2011

Three years carrying a quota before the 2012 move into operations. Not the chapter I'd point to for results — but the one that taught me what the field actually needs from the systems I now build.

Generated and qualified pipeline as an inside sales rep, handing off opportunities to the field sales organization.

I'll be straight about it: selling wasn't where I did my best work, and I didn't stay long. What those years gave me is the reason I'm useful on the other side of the house. I know what it feels like to work inside a CRM that fights you, to be asked for forecast numbers the system can't actually produce, and to lose time to a process someone designed without ever sitting in the seat. Every org, dashboard, and quoting flow I've built since has been shaped by remembering that a rep is on the other end of it.

Education

Salesforce
Jan 2012 - Present

Certified Administrator (earned 2012) and Certified Advanced Administrator — the credential that marked the deliberate move out of sales and into operations.

Earned the Salesforce Administrator certification in 2012, after a few years in sales roles, as the deliberate first step out of carrying a quota and into building the systems behind one. The Advanced Administrator credential followed.

Both applied since to multi-org CRM architecture, CPQ quoting, lead scoring and ICP models, data quality programs, and the pipeline reporting sales leadership forecasts against.
